Terrestrial Mobile LiDAR Scanning (TMLS) data collection
A topographic survey is used to gather survey data about the natural and man-made features of the land, as well as its elevations. From this information a three- dimensional map may be prepared. TMLS can cut the time to minutes that would traditionally take weeks to achieve the same results at survey grade accuracy.
- Establish horizontal and vertical control to
serve as the framework of the survey
- Determine horizontal location and elevation of ground points
- Locate natural and man-made features
- Computing distances, angles, and elevations
